The relationship between Supervisee and Supervisor is equally important to that between Therapist and Client. Which is why Beth Ann believes the Attachment Theory lens she works from and her passion for building meaningful connections is not only relevant but essential to this role.
One of the main purposes of Clinical Psychotherapy Supervision is to support Psychotherapists, whether new to the field or established in their practice, in further developing their professional identity and skills. Supervisee's working with Beth Ann can expect to engage in professional development discussions (ie. exploring therapeutic strategies & techniques from various approaches such as EFT, ACT, SFBT, DBT); as well as personal growth related conversations. She once heard the quote "We can only take our clients as far as we have gone ourselves" (unknown); and it has become a guiding mantra in her own practice and in her role as supervisor. To her, these words speak to the personal growth and awareness that are vital to working in this field.
Beth Ann has completed the required training to be recognized as a Supervisor with the CRPO. And she is thoroughly enjoying this role, learning from her colleagues as well as offering guidance. Whether you are looking for a practicum placement to complete your education requirements; new to the profession and looking to fulfill your CRPO hours; or an established Psychotherapist wanting to enhance your professional development or consult on a challenging case - Beth Ann would be happy to connect with you to discuss a possible supervision/consultation relationship.
Individual and Dyadic Supervision options available.

*New* - Group Supervision Now Offered Through RWC Launch
While I have greatly enjoyed hosting my Group Supervision sessions through Comfy Chair Counselling in the past, I’m excited to share that these groups are now being offered in partnership with RWC Launch.
This small group format offers a collaborative and supportive space for therapists at any stage of their career to reflect on their work, consult on cases, and explore new strategies together. With the same warm, attachment-focused approach I bring to individual supervision, these sessions are designed to foster both professional growth and personal insight.
